A leading and well-established Midlands law firm is seeking an ambitious Associate Director – Dispute Resolution to join its growing team. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Solicitor (5+ PQE) to step into a senior position with genuine long-term career prospects within a progressive and expanding firm.

Our client has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services across a broad range of commercial disputes. As part of its continued growth strategy, the firm is looking to appoint a commercially minded senior lawyer who can contribute to the development of the practice and help drive the business forward.

The Role

This is a senior position offering a varied and stimulating caseload within a highly regarded dispute resolution team. The successful candidate will handle a broad spectrum of complex and high-value matters, including:

• Commercial and contractual disputes
• Professional negligence claims
• Property litigation
• Intellectual property disputes
• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Building and construction disputes
• Other complex commercial litigation matters

Alongside managing your own caseload, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s growth through business development, networking, and leadership within the team.

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is keen to speak with commercially minded solicitors who are looking to take the next step in their career.

You will likely have:

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in Dispute Resolution
• A strong technical background gained within a respected law firm
• Proven leadership ability with the confidence to support and guide colleagues
• A demonstrable track record of business development and the ability to generate and convert work
• Experience managing an interesting and varied litigation caseload
• The ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines
• Excellent client management, communication, and interpersonal skills

Previous experience at Associate Director level would be advantageous but is not essential.
