A well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in South Leicestershire is seeking an ambitious Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The Opportunity

Working primarily from a village in South Leicester, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accountancy services and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping duties
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts
• Assisting on audit assignments
• Liaising directly with clients and handling queries
• Supporting senior team members with tax and compliance work
• Contributing to business development activities, including proposals and new client engagement

About You

• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or CCH
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach
• Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction
