Are you a newly qualified or early-career Family Solicitor ready to take the next step in your legal journey?

We’re working on behalf of a specialist Family Law firm in Leicester, highly regarded for their commitment to access to justice and high-quality client care. This firm is now looking to add a Family Solicitor (0–3 years PQE) to their close-knit and supportive team.

This is an exceptional opportunity to build your career in a genuinely specialist environment, with a 50/50 split of Legal Aid and Private Family Law work. You’ll receive hands-on training, direct client exposure, and mentoring from highly experienced solicitors.

The Role

Working under the supervision of senior lawyers, you will:

• Manage a growing caseload of Private Family Law matters such as divorce, private children disputes, and financial settlements.
• Assist and develop your own files on Public Family Law and Legal Aid cases including domestic abuse, care proceedings, and child protection matters.
• Attend court hearings, draft legal documents, and provide clear legal advice to a wide range of clients.
• Work in a collaborative, team-focused environment with opportunities for progression and panel accreditation support.

What We’re Looking For

• A Qualified Solicitor (0–3 years PQE) or CILEX equivalent with a genuine interest in Family Law.
• Experience (including training contract seats or paralegal work) in both Private and Legal Aid Family matters is highly desirable.
• Strong client-care skills with a sensitive and professional approach.
• A desire to build a long-term career within specialist Family Law.
• Willingness to undertake panel accreditation in future (training and support provided).
