Maintenance Fitter

THE COMPANY:

The company is a very well established international concrete casting plant with three manufacturing sites based in the UK. They have grown significantly over the past 5 years and are now employ over 100 employees. They produce paving slabs, paving blocks and sundry items in a variety of different stones and cater for both internal and external use.

THE ROLE:

In the past 12 months, the company has spent £1.3 Million on new hydraulic and pneumatic machinery as well as a Miller, Lathe, Arc and Mig Welder. Your role will require you to work on these machines, as well as a Table drive, batching system, and air system. You will be writing PPM Schedules trouble shooting and doing pre checks on all machines

THE PERSON:

First and foremost, it is imperative that you have a desire to progress. There is absolutely an opportunity for you to be working as a Foreman within the next 3-5 years and so this desire is compulsory. Furthermore, is you have experience of working as a Fitter, that would be great.

THE BENEFITS:

£25-30K, plus overtime (paid at time and a half)
