Are you a confident, organised individual with a no-nonsense attitude and a knack for keeping things running smoothly? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established, local construction company looking for a strong, capable Office Assistant to join their busy team.

This is a fast-paced role where you’ll be at the heart of the day-to-day operations—supporting a hands-on, straight-talking team in a lively environment. If you’re not easily flustered, thrive under pressure, and know how to hold your own, this could be a great fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General administration using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Matching transactions in Sage
  • Ordering materials and supplies
  • Monitoring and responding to emails
  • Typing up quotes and documents
  • Diary and meeting management

What We’re Looking For:

  • A resilient, proactive personality – someone who can handle banter and stay professional
  • Previous admin experience (ideally within construction or a similar environment)
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office and experience with Sage
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • A team player who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and keep things organised
