The Opportunity
We are delighted to be supporting a highly respected, multi-disciplinary law firm in Loughborough with the appointment of an experienced Practice Manager. The Role
As Practice Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the firm. Working closely with the Partners, you will take ownership of operational management across HR, compliance, finance, facilities, and strategic planning. This role is integral to supporting the firm’s continued growth and ensuring a first-class service for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational and administrative functions of the firm.
• Lead on HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, appraisals, and staff development.
• Manage compliance with regulatory and professional obligations (SRA, Lexcel, GDPR, AML).
• Take responsibility for financial management including budgets, reporting, and liaising with external accountants.
• Coordinate facilities management and supplier relationships.
• Work with the Partners to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
• Support business development and marketing activities to enhance the firm’s profile.

About You

• Previous experience in a Practice Manager, Office Manager, or similar senior operational role within a professional services environment (legal sector experience highly desirable).
• Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the legal industry.
• Commercially astute with excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Confident communicator able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and adaptable to the demands of a busy multi-disciplinary firm.
