This small firm has 2 offices in Leicester and provide a full range of accountancy services to their loyal clients. The company pride themselves on their ability to take all the stress away from their clients and give them total piece of mind knowing that their accounts are being looked after correctly.

The role

Your duties as an accountant will include:

• Preparing annual accounts and tax computations
• Preparing VAT returns on a quarterly basis
• Being the second contact for a portfolio of clients

In this specific role you will also have the responsibility of guiding and mentoring 2 younger apprentices and helping them improve and progress.

The person

We would love to speak to people who have at least 3 years’ experience as an accountant within practice as a large part of this role will involve mentoring two newer members of staff. An Accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA) would be advantageous. You will be working within a vibrant and dynamic office environment which comprises of 3 senior accountants and 2 apprentices.
