The role:

As an Airfreight Operations Assistant you will be handling Airfreight and Roadfreight import bookings and customs clearances. Your day-to-day job duties will include:

  • Receive bookings, quote, if necessary, within customer’s needs
  • Booking Collections
  • Arranging Import air/road freight or courier transport and documentation
  • Preparing Import Customs Declarations
  • Checking Customs Entries for Accuracy
  • Checking on Deliveries
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Entering Costs and Sales with accuracy
  • Sales Invoicing
  • Supporting the operations process
  • Resolving or reporting issues as required
  • Completing all other necessary administration

The person:

This company are looking for someone that is hardworking, willing to work as a team, organised, manage their time well, has accuracy when entering data and can prioritise their tasks and time to be more efficient. Knowledge of working to ISO9001 standards.
