Bookkeeper

Do you have proven experience as a Bookkeeper within a manufacturing related industry? Are you proficient in the use of Sage? Are you OK to work from home? If so, then this could be the right role for you.

THE COMPANY:

This company is a manufacturing company supplying parts into the railway industry. They pride themselves on their commitment to clients and their innovative approach to solutions. They are now seeking a detailed-oriented and experience Bookkeeper to join their team.

THE ROLE:

As a Bookkeeper you will be required to:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including day to day transactions, invoices and expenses.
• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage payroll.
• Cashflow forecasts – Weekly and monthly.
• Do Accounts up to Trial Balance.
• Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
• Payment of wages – PAYE, Pension, P11D.
• Staff Expenses.
• Annual Returns.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this role, you need to have proven experience of working as a bookkeeper, preferably within a manufacturing related sector. Furthermore, you should have a working knowledge of Sage 50. This is a home based role and so the ability to work independently is imperative.
