THE COMPANY:

The company is one of the UK’s most forward-thinking Accountancy Practices that provide a fully comprehensive accountancy service to clients whilst building strong relationship with them. They have a great culture in the office and due to this an extremely low turnover of staff. The practice is extremely flexible and has some great perks. Due to recent growth and success the company is looking to grow the team with like-minded individuals. Now they are looking for a Client Manager to assist in their growth and take the business to the next level.

THE ROLE:

As a Client Manager you will be for managing a full portfolio of clients and your responsibilities will be:

• Reviewing accounts following preparation to draft stage and calculate tax liabilities
• Liaising with clients to ensure accounts finalised for partner meeting
• Ensuring all stat deadlines are met within your portfolio
• Preparation of self assessment returns for directors / shareholders within your portfolio
• Being first point of contact for clients
• Responsibility for own billing and time management
• Audit work including statutory audits, SAR and grant audits
• Opportunities to develop own portfolio further and take meetings
• Opportunities to do specialist work such as forecasting, business valuations, EMI schemes

THE CANDIDATE:

Successful candidates should be proactive and able to manage their own time. You must be ACCA part or fully qualified (or equivalent) and have 3 years previous experience in practice. Someone confident and passionate would exceed in the role. A friendly and good-humoured individual would fit in well with the company’s culture and the team.
