Are you looking to further develop your experience and career in a forward thinking and friendly accountancy practice? We are seeking an experienced qualified ACA/ACCA or part qualified ACA/ACCA or AAT qualified person to join a growing team based in modern offices in Telford, Shropshire. Full support will be given for the completion of professional examinations.

All the accounts and tax staff are qualified to a chartered level or are training to achieve that level. They are focused on removing outdates perceptions of accountants and show that they are capable and committed.

The firm has invested heavily in the latest technology and is developing a nationwide client base operating from its well-connected Telford head office located close to the motorway network, plus a new office in Leicester city centre which is developing rapidly.  Working with the support of colleagues in a unit that has a great team spirit, you will undertake work that includes

• The management of a client portfolio
• Providing client facing support to the work of the partner and associate, also working alongside your fellow Client Manager
• Project management, including client facing support, of the introduction of cloud based accounting systems (Xero and Quickbooks mainly) to clients, with MTD ITSA very much in mind currently
• Supervision and training of staff
• Review of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• A variety of personal and corporation tax work, management reporting and financial forecasting.
• As a firm of Chartered Tax Advisers there is the opportunity to assist on specialist projects such as Research & Development claims, corporate restructuring plans, business valuations and forensic accounting reports.

This is the perfect role for a Client Manager/Accountant who is looking for progression and wanting to develop, with a salary of £31k – £33k.
