As a Control Room Manager, your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Remotely monitoring and controlling the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the recycling line.
  • Understanding and promptly responding to asset alarms and safety warnings.
  • Communicating and coordinating with on-site colleagues.
  • Ensuring all activities are undertaken in accordance with policies, procedures, and safety rules.
  • Working closely with the stakeholders, partners and service providers who support our activities.
  • Prioritising jobs and dispatching.
  • Day-to-day management of the Control Room team.


  • An excellent working knowledge of all processes and procedures associated with a manned Control Room.
  • Relevant industry experience – ability to demonstrate an understanding of Control Room requirements and processes.
  • Experienced in achieving SLAs, identifying gaps against standards, and implementing improvement solutions.
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and achieve tight deadlines.
