THE COMPANY:

This family run business has been established for 40 years and has grown from strength to strength with them now being a UK Leading freight forwarder based within the Midlands. They have numerous international clients across the world and look set to continue to grow year on year for the next 5 years. They benefit from having a very experienced team and pride themselves on their expert service that is consistent in everything they do. They are now looking for an Export Packing Operative to join their friendly team in Broughton Astley.

THE ROLE:

As an Export Packing Operative you will be responsible for working within the export packing team carefully handling clients goods preparing them for export. You will be working with wood and using tools such as saws and nail guns to construct pallets and cases for export. You will be adhering to safety regulations and ensuring professionalism at all times.

THE CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate must be fit and active as this is a manual role, which can involve loading and unloading of heavy goods. You should ideally have previous experience of export packing and wood working and have a good eye for measurements, though this is not essential as full training will be provided. Someone that can work as part of a team and successfully under pressure would fit in well. A driving licence and a FLT licence would be beneficial but is not necessary.
