Fire safety is an essential part of day-to-day life across all businesses, with it being a basic requirement for any business to remain in operation. As such every office block, warehouse, school, you name it requires a Fire Alarm Engineer to make sure everything is up to the expected standard. And if you think you have the skills and knowhow, then this new opening for a Fire Alarm Engineer could be right for you.

THE ROLE:

In your new role as a Fire Alarm Engineer your primary focus will be the installation of fire alarms and their maintenance. Your duties will include:

  • The installation and programming of control panels and other equipment for fire alarm systems
  • Mounting sensors and performing all necessary tasks to do so such as drilling holes and accessing locations to ensure optimal wiring layouts
  • Installing wiring systems and connecting all relevant components while meeting safety standards
  • Inspecting and testing systems
  • Identifying and repairing malfunctions
  • And more

ABOUT YOU:

If you are an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry, a full and clean driving licence then you could be right to join the team! If you are self-motivated, have qualified experience on-site with fire alarm & emergency lighting, and ideally are NVQ Level 3 qualified with the 18th Edition update then we are keen to see you. Additionally having Intruder alarms, CCTV & Access control experience would be beneficial too, but not essential.
