Handy Person

Are you a handy person? Are you OK to work occasionally at heights? Do you want a full-time role? Do you have a clean driving license? If you can answer ‘Yes’ to all of these questions, then this may be the right role for you.

THE COMPANY:

The company is a Leicester based family run organisation that was set up in 2011 to put up ‘For Sale’ boards across Leicestershire. They have contracts with some of the largest estate agents across the County and have now grown to a position where they need an additional person on their team.

THE ROLE:

Within this varied role, you will be doing a number of different tasks on a daily basis. The primary aspect of this position is to travel to different houses and erect a ‘For Sale’ board, or to change the sign to ‘Sold’. The company also have contracts with Commercial agents, and so you will be also required to visit factories, warehouses, offices etc and erect boards at height as and when required. Once the building/house is sold, then you will need to go to the property to remove the board. Another aspect of your role will require you to photograph the boards once installed, to allow the company to promote their work on social media. Finally, your assistance will be required in the workshop to fabricate the boards.

THE PERSON:

To be considered for this role, you need to be a hands on and practical person who is competent in using basic hand tools and drills. Someone who is good at DIY, with basic carpentry/ woodworking skills would be ideal. Furthermore, this role will require you to occasionally work at heights, and so you must be happy with this, and finally, be in possession of a full, clean driving licence.
