THE COMPANY:

Your new employer is a Health and Safety Consultancy that has been operating within the East Midlands for the last decade and have assisted a myriad of businesses in that time, seeing them improve their health and safety practices in compliance with national requirements. Their mission statement is to provide their clients effective, straightforward solutions that help save them money and time while keeping their employees safe. Their team is made up of a group of industry tested experts with a great many years of experience under their belts and a passion for their work that leaves nothing to be desired.

THE ROLE:

In your new role as a Health and Safety Consultant you will get the chance to see scores of businesses across the East Midlands and work alongside experts in their fields, advising them on the best ways to improve their safety practices and safeguard against potential accidents, as well as providing advice on how they can more efficiently manage their processes more efficiently. As a Health and Safety Consultant you will:

  • Provide advice and attend planning meeting to ensure all safety and environmental requirements are met
  • Carrying out routine site visits, inspections and audits, as well as accident investigations
  • Provide health and safety training for dealing with hazardous materials such as Asbestos including risk assessments how to prevent harmful exposure
  • Play a key role in the company’s Contractor Assessment Schemes
  • Compiling health & safety documentation including policies and procedures, carrying out risk assessments, completing method statements and safe systems of work and other documentation as required by clients.

ABOUT YOU:

If you are a NEBOSCH and/or IOSH qualified individual with a solid knowledge of Safety Law and Health and Safety topics (such as Fire, Manual Handling, and Working at Heights), with upwards of 3 years’ experience then we are keen to speak with you. Additionally, if you are the type of person who is passionate about what they do and eager to learn and expand their skills then you are just the type of person we are looking for. Finally, if you have a history of working in Health and Safety in roles such as a Health & Safety Advisor, Health, Safety & Risk Manager, or a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager, then you could be right for this role.
