The birth of a brand new, state of the art facility means that they now need to add a Health, Safety & Environmental Officer to their thriving team.

THE ROLE:

The role of Health, Safety & Environmental Officer will be working in conjunction with the Leadership Team to continuously develop the company’s HSE provision. You will be the primary point of contact for all HSE issues and will conduct investigations, report and record all accidents and complete daily site inspections. You will be involved in all pre audit preparation and work alongside other teams to complete all ISO QMS documentation. A final aspect of your role will be to deliver Manual Handling and Fire Training courses and complete relevant supplier tenders/ assessment questionnaires.

THE PERSON:

To be considered for this role, you need to have proven experience of working within a Health, Safety & Environmental role, ideally from within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. You must be a confident person with great communication skills and be able to lead by example. Furthermore, if you have an NVQ Level 3 in Occupation Health & Safety, or NEBOSH in General Certificate, that would be great, or an IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management.
