Machine Operator

THE COMPANY:

This company is a leader in uPVC product recycling organisation, and they work with many different companies across the UK and overseas. They are an ISO 14001 accredited company and have been established for over 30 years. They have recently seen a huge surge in demand and as such, are currently embarking on a big recruitment drive to allow.

THE ROLE:

The role is working within the ‘Extrusion’ part of the company, where you will be maintaining the output from the pellet extruder and ensuring that this is functioning efficiently throughout the day. This will include cleaning of the machine, completing filter changes and also any general housekeeping around this machine. You will be providing produce samples and producing daily reports on the efficiency of the machine.

THE PERSON:

To be considered for this role, you need to have experience of working as a Machine Operator and a Counterbalance License. This is a hands-on role where someone with a practical mind will be beneficial along with a great attention to detail. Furthermore, you must be available to work a rotating shift pattern (4 on 4 off, days and nights) 0600 – 1800, 1800 – 0600.
