Maintenance Assistant

They are the only company in the UK that offers the solutions that they do, and through growth in demand for their services, they are now looking to add to their team.

THE ROLE:

The role of Maintenance Assistant will be supporting the Maintenance Managers. This is a pivotal role in the operation of the site, ensuring that production runs smoothly with any technical issues being dealt with promptly. Your role will include:

• Being responsible for the maintenance of conveyor belts.
• Adhering to a service schedules.
• Attending breakdowns on site.
• Keeping accurate records of spares.
• Carrying out daily pre and post production checks on all machinery.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this role, you need to have previous experience of working with sorters, separators and/ or conveyor belts. You are not expected to be an expert in any of these, but previous exposure is required. You need to be aware of H&S Regulations and be proactive throughout the shift – highlighting any issues to the Maintenance Team where necessary. You must have a willingness to learn and have a positive attitude with a desire to progress.
