Maintenance Engineer

THE ROLE:

The role of Maintenance Engineer will be pivotal to the operation as you will be ensuring that the production runs smoothly at all time, and any technical issues are resolved as soon as possible to minimise downtime in production. You will be responsible for the maintenance of all machinery (Conveyor belts), create service schedules, attend and repair breakdowns, order spare parts, highlight any issues, ensure that staff are wearing appropriate PPE and ensure a full handover to the incoming shift.

THE PERSON:

To be considered for this role, you need to be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. An Electrical Engineering background will be a distinct advantage, as would a good track record of H&S. To succeed in this role, you need a positive ‘Can do’ attitude and have a desire to get the best out of a team. The machinery used on site is Tomra, and so if you have a working knowledge of this, that would be great. The shift for this role is 1800 – 0400.
