Manufacturing Engineer

They are currently seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team.

THE ROLE:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be joining a high performing and knowledgeable team comprising of; Manufacturing Engineers, Continuous Improvement Engineers and Operational Metrologists. You will be collaborating with R&D, Business Development, Operations, Product Assemble and the Machine Shop.

• Supporting the design of tooling and VAVE Activities using SolidWorks
• Leading projects using Lean Manufacturing and six Sigma techniques
• Leading Continuous Improvement activities and Kaizen events
• Generating & Maintaining Manufacturing documentation
• Supporting Manufacturing cells with their recording and analysis of production data.
• Implementing improvement tools including 6S and 8 Wastes.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this role,  you need to have a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering qualification (BSc/ MSc) with previous experience of working with electronic or electromechanical products. You will have experience of Lean Manufacturing Principles and have a strong track record of delivering quality based solutions for clients.
