THE COMPANY

The company is an established Building Services Contractor that provides Mechanical & Electrical design, installation and maintenance services for a number of clients. The team pride themselves on their high standards and successful track record working across several different sectors. Through growth they are now looking for an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

THE ROLE

In this role, you will take be at the centre of procurement, contract administration, organising and implementing subcontracts, subcontract valuations, measurements, and final account negotiations. You will monitor the progress of sub-contractors, cost forecasting and maintain a good working relationship with stakeholders. Additionally, you shall represent the company at commercial meetings and produce quality written materials as and when required. Additional aspects of this role will include:

• Carrying out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales.
• Preparing and monitoring project cash flow forecasts.
• Measuring, valuing, submitting, and negotiating contract variations.
• Providing advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including the reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
• Preparing, submitting, and negotiate project final accounts.

THE CANDIDATE

A successful candidate will be an experienced professional within the Building Services sector with a proven track record of working to a high standard.
