Synergy Personnel Services are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected M&E Contractor who operate across the UK, delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical projects within the commercial, retail, healthcare, industrial, education and fit-out sectors.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their expanding delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing contractor with over 30 years’ industry experience, recognised for delivering nationwide Design & Build M&E solutions on projects ranging from fast-track fit outs through to large-scale commercial installations. ()

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

You will oversee programme delivery, subcontractor management, client liaison, procurement, financial performance and site coordination, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Projects are delivered nationwide, therefore flexibility to travel when required is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical projects from inception through to completion
• Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors on site
• Managing project programmes and ensuring deadlines are achieved
• Attending client and site meetings
• Monitoring project costs and variations
• Ensuring health & safety compliance across projects
• Working closely with internal design and commercial teams
• Supporting commissioning and final handover processes

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E / Building Services sector
• Strong knowledge of mechanical installations including HVAC, ventilation, plumbing and heating systems
• Experience delivering commercial, retail, healthcare, industrial or fit-out projects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Full UK Driving Licence
