Mobile Plant Controller

THE ROLE:

The role of Truck and Plant Operative will require you to maintain mobile plant on site, this includes: Shunter Units, mobile shredders, JCB Trucks and any additional mobile plant that may be on site.

Your role will requires you to:

• Schedule maintenance in accordance with shift demands,
• Ensure mobile plant is maintained in compliance with H&S standards set on site.
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance schedules.
• Keep a log of consumables (including fuel storage)
• Supporting the maintenance team on fixed plant where required (Holiday Cover)

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this role, you must have able to use your own initiative and make decisions in a fast paces (sometimes pressurised) environment. You will come from a mechanical background and ideally have experience of working with hydraulic systems (Hoses) and knowledge of working on fork lift trucks. If you have an in date FLT Licence, that would be an advantage
