Night Shift Supervisor

The Company:

This company are a specialist manufacturer of custom-made products to the automotive and other industries. They are a market leader in their sector, and their team has a wealth of experience.

The Role:

The working hours will be 18:00 – 06:00 Monday night to Friday morning

Your main duties will include:

• Working closely with the Production Manager to ensure that the manufacturing needs of the company are met.
• Communicating instructions, information and concerns from shift Handover and complaints.
• Following instructions from the Production Manager to ensure that running and setting times are adhered to and reporting any issues directly to the Production Manager.
• Monitoring shift performance to ensure any mistakes are quickly rectified and where necessary lines are not producing scrap for extended periods of time.
• Completing all paperwork to a high standard.
• Ensuring that all booking is accurate and properly recorded.
• Using relevant measuring equipment.
• Monitoring staff performance.
• Ensuring all staff are looking after tooling and setting the lines in a timely fashion.
• Ensuring the day-to-day cleanliness and safety of the shop floor.
• Organising staff breaks to ensure maximum productivity.
• Resolving day-to-day staffing issues

The Person:
