Panel Builder/Wire Person

The role:

As a panel builder your responsibilities will include:

• Building and wiring switch panels for commercial buildings and working to deadlines
• Interpreting drawings received from the engineer following customer approval
• Building the frame, mounting boxes, and fitting switches
• Working with others when co-ordinating larger projects

The person:

To be considered for this role you must:

• Be competent at using a range of machines including circular saw, pneumatic punches, wall saw, pillar drills and various hand tools
• Having an engineering qualification and forklift licence would be advantageous but not essential
• Be confident in communicating with internal and external customers
• Have the ability to build relationships with people quickly through effective communication

The benefits:

£11-13 per hour, depending on experience. Length of service increase holiday entitlement, profit based bonus scheme.
