Production Supervisor

THE COMPANY:

This company is a leader in uPVC product recycling and they work with many different companies across the UK and overseas. They are an ISO 14001 accredited company and have been established for over 30 years. They have recently seen a huge surge in demand and as such, are currently embarking on a big recruitment drive to allow.

THE ROLE:

The position of Production Supervisor is a First Line management position within the company, and it will be your role to supervise and coordinate all production activities, ensuring that production targets are met in accordance with standard operating procedures. You will be prioritising works whilst maintaining quality and adhering to health & safety. You will be the first responder to production questions and maintain a good level of communication with managers of different departments. Finally, your role will require you to maintain stock records, maintain and publish KANBAN records, seek out SOP improvements, stay in control of staff levels (including holiday and training records), plan PPM around production, and conduct annual reviews with your staff.

THE PERSON:

This is a fantastic role for someone who has experience of working within a fast paced  Production environment and the ability to work well under pressure. If you have experience of reporting progress & improvements, within a PLC driven process, this would also be a great fit. Finally, it is imperative that you have a ‘Can do’ attitude with strong IT proficiency  and a great attention to detail. The role will involve shift work (4 on 4 off, days and nights) 1800 – 0600 and so you must be able to work this shift pattern

PAY:

As a Production Supervisor, you will be earning a salary of £30-35K, plus bonus.
