ABOUT THE COMPANY:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As they SHEQ Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and implementing Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) initiatives across the company. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, drive continuous improvement in SHEQ performance, and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence and responsibility. Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop, implement and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures and standards in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspection to assess compliance and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate SHEQ considerations into their business processes.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, and lead the development and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for SHEQ related inquiries from all stakeholders within the company.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant certification (e.g. NEBOSH) with proven experience in SHEQ Management, preferably within a manufacturing environment. You should have in depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and have strong leadership skills. Finally, you will be an excellent communicator with a willingness to travel between two local sites.
