Synergy Personnel Services is currently working in partnership with a Top 50 UK law firm seeking to appoint a Senior Associate or Partner into its growing Dispute Resolution team in Chelmsford.

This opportunity is particularly well suited to a commercially minded litigator looking for a platform that combines high-quality work, genuine autonomy, and a clear route to leadership.

The Role

You will join a well-established national Dispute Resolution team, advising on a broad mix of contentious matters, with particular emphasis on commercial disputes.

The caseload is varied and may include:

• Commercial contract disputes and litigation
• Shareholder and director disputes
• Property litigation and landlord & tenant matters
• Professional negligence claims
• Debt recovery and enforcement actions
• Regulatory and contentious advisory matters

The team takes a strategic and commercially focused approach, often resolving matters through negotiation, mediation or other forms of ADR where appropriate, while remaining highly capable in litigation when required.

You will be given the scope to:

• Develop your own client relationships and specialisms
• Work closely with other departments to generate cross-referrals
• Contribute to the growth of the Chelmsford office
• Take a leading role in shaping the direction of the disputes practice locally

At Partner level, there is a genuine opportunity to build and scale a team with full backing from a national platform.

About You

We’re interested in speaking with:

• Experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitors (Senior Associate or Partner level)
• Strong background in commercial litigation and/or property disputes
• A pragmatic, solution-driven approach to client work
• Individuals who enjoy business development and relationship building
• Lawyers with regional connections in Essex / South East (helpful but not essential)

A following is welcomed for Partners, but the firm’s existing client base and internal network provide a strong foundation for growth.
