Synergy Personnel Services is working on behalf of a Top 50 UK law firm looking to strengthen its Employment team in Lincoln with the addition of a Senior Associate or Partner.

This role offers something slightly different to the traditional law firm proposition — a genuine opportunity to step into a strategic, advisory-led position with access to high-quality national work and a strong regional client base.

The Position

You will become part of a national Employment practice that advises businesses on both contentious and non-contentious matters, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused solutions.

The team is known for its straightforward, business-first advice, helping clients navigate an increasingly complex employment landscape with confidence.

Your work will typically include:

  • Day-to-day HR and operational advice to employers
  • Employment Tribunal claims and dispute management
  • Restructuring, redundancies and TUPE matters
  • Drafting contracts, policies and senior executive terms
  • Advising on disciplinary, grievance and performance processes
  • Strategic input on workforce issues and business change projects
  • Supporting corporate transactions from an employment perspective

You’ll also have exposure to senior executive advisory work, including exits, restrictive covenants and high-value disputes.

About You

This role would suit:

  • An Employment Solicitor operating at Senior Associate or Partner level
  • Strong experience advising employers on a broad mix of contentious and advisory matters
  • A commercially aware lawyer who understands the realities of running a business
  • Someone who enjoys building relationships and being a trusted adviser to clients
  • Lawyers with connections in the Gloucestershire / South West market (useful but not essential)

A following is beneficial at senior level, but not critical given the firm’s existing client network and internal pipeline of work.
