Technical Sales Engineer

The company Develop, Manufacture and Distribute mechanical systems for Racing, Aerospace and High-Performance Divisions, globally. They were founded in 1985 in Austria and have since grown all over the world.

As a Technical Sales Engineer your main responsibilities would be as follows:
• To use technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on products Key Performance Standards
• Decision making, quality, process, and employee management
• Identifying and establishing new business
• Organising sales visits
• Liaising with existing clients
• Preparing quotations
• Providing pre-sales and post-sales support
• Supporting other members of the sales team
• Attending trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings
• Ensuring that sales targets are met.
• Budget planning and monitoring
• Representative for the customer within the company
• Monthly Reporting Desired Professional Skills

We are looking for someone who ideally has experience in the following:
• Knowledge and understanding of the automotive racing industry, competitors, products, and developments
• Knowledge and understanding of the automotive racing industry, competitors, products, and developments
• Educated to degree level in a technical discipline, preferably BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Min. of 3 years’ experience within Sales role in an engineering environment
• Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong knowledge of ERP software.
• Experience with ISO 9001 requirements, basic knowledge of product liability
• Experience with Kaizen, 5S, Continuous Improvement and Lean Enterprise practices advantageous
• Knowledge about statistical methods advantageous (distribution, process capability)
• Additional languages would be an advantage (German) Desired Social Skills

As a Technical Sales Engineer the salary would eb starting at 30k per annum, depending on experience & qualifications, the hours of work are 8:15am – 16:45pm Mon-Thurs and 8am – 14pm Friday.
