THE COMPANY:

This market leading company has been established for over 30 years, and through organic growth, have recently moved to a state of the art production facility in Kettering. They are the only company in the UK that offers the solutions that they do, and through growth in demand for their services, they are now looking to add to their team.

THE ROLE:

The role of Yard & Stock Control Manager is to ensure the smooth running of the facility through accurate details in planning and high levels of communication across all levels and departments pf the business. Within your role, you will be:

  • Overseeing site safety for staff and contractors with the supports of the H&S Manager ensuring that stock is not over stacked.
  • Manage day to day stock requirements and ensure daily targets are met.
  • Manage the day to day stock and weighbridge operation and coordinate teams effectively.
  • General Management of weighbridge staff and drivers
  • Ensure that the production team have relevant information for the handover of shifts.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this role, you must proven experience in managing stock, people and logistics with the ability to communication with all levels of an organisation and also delegate tasks where necessary. You will need strong attention to detail and good leadership skills.
